A New Day Yesterday: the 25th Anniversary Collection 1969-1994

Tull 25th Anniversary DVD cover

Originally released as VHS in 1994, this 1.5 hour collection is remastered to DVD with stereo sound. Included are Tull music videos, great interviews from current (well, in 1994) and past members at a reunion staged in London, and live performances over the years.

A highlight is the ever controversial "The Story of the Hare that Lost His Spectacles" video, for how "over the top" it is and the amazing production quality for 1973 (compare early MTV).
Living with the Past
Living with the Past DVD cover "LWTP" features songs from a specially recorded concert at London's Hammersmith Apollo Theatre in 2001. It includes lots of documentary backstage snippets, and interviews and insights along with a reunion of the original 1968 lineup for a few songs in a small pub. A special bonus is the intimate acoustic recording session with Ian on: Wond'ring Aloud and Life Is A Long Song, both of which are bolstered by the presence of a string quartet.

Nothing is Easy: Live at the Isle of Wright 1970
Nothing is Easy: front DVD cover Tull played the final day of the legendary Isle of Wight festival (often called the "British Woodstock") in 1970. Tull fans now can own this classic, previously unreleased live recording of the band's early work. The DVD masterfully intersperses comments from Ian about the "hippie" period, the festival, the technical and logistic difficulties of the soundcheck, Tull's legacy, and the band's performance, as well as a photo gallery of Tull from the festival.

This approximately eighty-minute DVD has superior audio, including options for Dolby Surround 5.1 and DTS, outstanding sound quality.
Live at Montreux 2003
Live at Montreux cover

In 2003, Tull made their first (and so far only) visit to the Montreux Festival. Split into a semi-acoustic first half and a full on electric second half, the concert was a triumph combining newer songs such as “Dot Com”, “Pavane,” and “Budapest” with classic favorites.

Ian Anderson Plays the Orchestral Jethro Tull
